Procurement

Emera Newfoundland & Labrador built the Maritime Link subsea transmission project as part of a long-term vision for transformation to cleaner renewable energy working with regional partners.  It has been providing enhanced reliability for our region since going into service in 2018 and will enable the transmission of renewable electricity from Newfoundland and Labrador to Nova Scotia and beyond when Muskrat Falls comes online.

Emera Newfoundland & Labrador is committed to ethical and fair business practices. We seek to build long-term business partnerships that are mutually beneficial and leverage local or regional content where possible.

At Emera Newfoundland & Labrador safety and quality are paramount in everything we do. We are steadfast in our resolve to be responsible environmental stewards while providing a work environment that promotes diversity and inclusion.
