 Operation of the HVDC System
The normal operating mode of the HVdc system is a two wire (two pole or bipole) operation with each pole transmitting up to 250 megawatts (MW) of electricity for a total system capacity of 500 MW (250 MW x 2). Learn more (PDF).

  Employment Information
