Commercial Fish Harvesters

Fisheries Liaison Committees (FLCs) have been created as a forum for the continued engagement and collaboration with local fish harvesters. The FLCs will help in maintain ongoing consultation with fish harvesters during all Project phases to avoid and/or minimize interactions with fishing activities and to communicate Project activities.

Two FLCs have been established on the island of Newfoundland and three in Cape Breton. Members for each FLC are determined by the commercial fish harvesting groups and are intended to represent diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
